INTEGRATED PARTNERS
With the advent of the Internet, multifamily suppliers began using a myriad of different data formats and platforms to develop their products. While these programs served the individual company’s needs, it created difficulty in integration with others’ products and services.
In 2002, the National Multi Housing Council (NMHC) initiated an effort to create apartment specific data standards. With the promise of boundless Internet possibilities ahead, NMHC was a pioneer in tackling the challenge of integrating property management needs with multifamily suppliers.
The NMHC developed the Multifamily Information and Transactions Standards (MITS), a standard data dictionary and set of XML schemas for leasing, resident screening, Internet marketing and describing property information.
The MITS allows for seamless exchange of data between systems and business partners widely used in the multifamily industry. ResidentCheck supports this effort and uses the
MITS standards in its programming for partnership integration with any program adhering to these standards.
ResidentCheck owns our entire infrastructure and has a technology platform that allows for full customization, knowledgeable training and ongoing dedicated support.
